FC14255 - works rally replica

in an earlier post I alluded to work progressing on another Spitfire4 - well here's FC14255 a 1963 car. She still has the original engine, gearbox, diff and chassis which is nice. Body is a replacement though as the original was well beyond saving.

As you can see she's going to be dressed in Works rally trim with the unique roof and bonnet. These were acquired a little while ago from Graham Pierce of T6 - the guys who make the Fibreglass Works Le Mans replicas. The quality is incredible.  Enjoy!

FC316 now becoming structurally sound!

Ok so looooooong time since my last post! The body shell for FC316 is now structurally sound! It has taken a very long time though. Part of this has simply been about cash, but a lot has also concerned the purchase of another Spitfire4! A 1963 car - FC14255 was originally purchased as a parts only car (albeit with a V5 in my name) but things changed and now progress with this car has progressed nicely.
