well this weekend has mostly been about rebuilding the front suspension. I also bought some wheel dollies, which will  allow me to move the car around more freely. I hope to get the engine refitted this week. Then trial fit the rally Fastback.  Update:  sent the car to have the roof and bonnet fitted properly 👍

Update on FC316

So, here’s a photo of FC316 as she is right now. Doesn’t look much I know but...she’s structurally sound now! All the welding has been done, keeping as much original metalwork as possible and using NOS panels where necessary. The doors and bonnet are fitted and the gaps nicely adjusted.  The chassis has been painted in Signal red and the suspension is fitted. The diff and gearbox have been rebuilt and are in place as is the prop shaft. Engine...not yet. So basically she’s ready for body prep and painting.
